Head Chef or Pastry Chef role for a Turkish and Greek restaurant operating during Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia.
The assignment is described as a six-month contract beginning in October 2026.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Pastry Chef, Executive Chef, or in a similar senior culinary position is required.
- Strong professional experience with Turkish and/or Greek cuisine is required.
- Knowledge of traditional Turkish and Greek pastries, desserts, and culinary techniques is required.
- Experience leading and supervising a kitchen team is required.
- Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills are required.
- Culinary training or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and oversee Turkish and Greek dishes and pastries.
- Maintain quality, taste, presentation, consistency, and portion standards.
- Develop authentic recipes and menu items.
- Train and supervise kitchen and pastry team members.
- Monitor inventory and supplies, control food costs, and minimize waste.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and kitchen organization standards.
- Coordinate with restaurant management and front-of-house staff.
