Position Overview
Lead kitchen operations and maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, presentation, and service.
Oversee kitchen staff, menu development, food costs, safety, and efficient kitchen operations.
Kitchen Operations and Culinary Standards
- Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent food production.
- Develop menus, recipes, preparation methods, portion specifications, plating standards, and production guidelines.
- Monitor food preparation and service during busy periods for timely and accurate order completion.
- Conduct quality checks of ingredients, prepared dishes, and finished plates.
People and Service Management
- Manage, supervise, motivate, train, and evaluate kitchen personnel.
- Plan schedules, staff assignments, preparation requirements, and daily production.
- Coordinate with restaurant management, front-of-house, purchasing, events, and service teams.
- Handle kitchen-related customer complaints and support dietary and allergy-related requests.
