About the Role
LiL Nomsters is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead kitchen operations, develop recipes, manage inventory, and mentor a team at Dubai's first kids-only cloud kitchen.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the day to day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
- Supervise the preparation of Indian, Continental, and children’s meals while maintaining consistency.
- Develop, standardise, and continuously improve recipes, SOPs, and production processes.
- Plan daily production schedules based on customer orders, subscriptions, catering requirements, and seasonal demand.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise chefs, bakers, kitchen assistants, and support staff.
- Monitor food quality at every stage of production and ensure only products meeting standards leave the kitchen.
- Oversee inventory management, procurement, supplier coordination, stock rotation, and minimise food wastage.
- Monitor food costs, labour efficiency, and kitchen productivity while maintaining operational targets.
- Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, HACCP requirements, food safety standards, and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Maintain kitchen documentation, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and food safety records.
- Lead menu innovation by developing child friendly recipes, seasonal menus, catering offerings, and new product launches.
- Adapt recipes to meet dietary requirements, allergies, and customer preferences whenever required.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of professional culinary experience, with at least 5 years working in the UAE.
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef managing a commercial kitchen.
- Strong expertise in both Indian and Continental cuisine.
- Experience preparing and developing meals for children, schools, nurseries, or family focused food businesses is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing kitchen operations, production planning, procurement, inventory, food costing, and quality control.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, mentor, and lead a kitchen team.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety regulations, and Dubai Municipality requirements.
- PIC (Person In Charge) certification is mandatory.
- Comfortable working in a small startup environment with teamwork and flexibility.
- Strong leadership, organisational, communication, and problem solving skills.
