Head Barista

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coffee operations across all branches.
• Ensure consistent quality of coffee preparation, presentation, and service.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate baristas on specialty coffee standards.
• Develop and update beverage menus in line with specialty coffee trends.
• Monitor and maintain coffee equipment, including calibration and maintenance.
• Conduct regular quality control visits across Sesame branches in the UAE.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control for coffee-related items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all coffee stations.
• Work with management to improve customer experience and service standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Barista or Senior Barista in specialty coffee.
• Strong knowledge of coffee extraction, brewing methods, latte art, and bean profiling.
• Experience training and leading a team.
• Willingness to travel and oversee multiple branches across the UAE.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for coffee and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Specialty coffee certifications such as SCA are preferred.
• Experience in multi-branch café operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee roasting is an advantage.

Compensation

• The pay is AED 5,000 per month.

Workplace

• The work location is in person.
