Role Description
The Harvey Driver role is full-time and on-site in Abu Dhabi.
The driver operates Harvey trucks for deliveries, collections, or internal transport needs while following designated routes and schedules.
Driver Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips.
- Load and unload goods and maintain clean, orderly vehicles.
- Follow traffic and safety regulations.
- Complete delivery documentation and report mechanical issues or delays.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and supervisors.
- Provide timely, accurate, and courteous service to customers and team members.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills with experience operating Harvey or similar trucks and a clean driving record.
- Valid CDL Class A or equivalent UAE heavy vehicle license and knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to inspect vehicles, identify issues, and report maintenance needs.
- Physical ability to load, unload, and secure cargo, including capacity to work extended hours or shifts when needed.
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi roads and GPS systems is an advantage.
- Previous commercial or logistics driving experience is preferred.
- Basic English or Arabic language skills are beneficial.
