Job requirements
• BS or MS in Electrical or Optical Engineering. BS candidates preferably have 1+ year in the semiconductor industry with hands-on analog/mixed-signal experience; strong new graduates with solid circuit fundamentals and lab experience will also be considered.
• Knowledge of analog circuits (op-amps, digital gates, signal processing).
• Strong laboratory measurement skills.
• Proficiency in Python and Excel.
• Team-oriented and analytical, with a self-driven desire to deliver beyond the defined scope.
• PCB design knowledge.
• Experience developing automation scripts for link-up, training, and diagnostics.
• Familiarity with high-speed test equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, spectrum analyzers).
Job responsibilities
• Develop Python test scripts and support new product development.
• Design and execute engineering validation testing (EVT) and design validation testing (DVT).
• Debug functional and performance issues on products and test chips, both in the lab and onsite.
• Conduct measurements on optical evaluation boards and modules.
• Author internal documentation, including validation reports, handling guidelines, and application notes with reference designs.
• Take ownership of high-priority issues and drive them to resolution.
