Role Overview

The Hardware Engineering Manager leads hardware development from concept through production and manages the hardware engineering team.
The role establishes processes and technical direction for reliable, high-quality products at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Lead hardware development against performance, quality, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Plan and manage hardware projects and proactively manage technical, resource, quality, and schedule risks.
- Set priorities, ownership, milestones, and accountability for engineering deliverables.
- Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing hardware engineering team.
- Establish and improve hardware engineering processes across projects.
- Provide technical leadership across architecture, analog, digital, power, PCB, DFM/DFT, reliability, systems integration, and compliance.
- Partner with Product, Program Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners.
- Drive engineering excellence, ownership, continuous improvement, and accountability.
