Role Overview
The Handover Coordinator manages the full property and project handover lifecycle from pre-handover preparation through final sign-off and post-handover follow-up.
The role coordinates developers, owners, tenants, maintenance teams, and internal departments to deliver smooth, compliant, and timely handovers.
The role supports residential and commercial property and asset handovers in line with Dubai Land Department and RERA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate residential and commercial property handover activities.
- Prepare and verify handover checklists, inspection reports, snagging lists, and compliant documentation.
- Conduct pre-handover inspections and coordinate defect resolution with technical and maintenance teams.
- Share timelines, status updates, and action items with owners, tenants, developers, sales, and asset management.
- Arrange formal handover meetings, obtain sign-offs, and maintain accurate records.
- Manage digital handover files and update Excel trackers and internal systems.
- Follow up on post-handover rectifications and close outstanding issues within agreed timelines.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, Kaizen efficiency standards, and UAE real estate regulations.
- Support Emiratization goals by collaborating with local teams and government authorities when required.
