Handover Coordinator

Job Description

What You Will Do

• Oversee handover of completed construction works and collect required documentation, certificates, and approvals.
• Coordinate construction, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams on project deliverables.
• Track documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct handover meetings and address outstanding client or stakeholder issues.
• Coordinate final inspections, testing, approvals, and punch list resolution before official handover.
• Maintain handover schedules and assist with as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and other final documentation.
• Ensure regulatory approvals and permits are ready for handover and provide post-handover support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited university.
• At least 14 years of project coordination or handover management experience in drainage, sewerage, or infrastructure projects, including 5 years in consultancy.
• Experience managing handover documentation, final inspections, testing, and contractual compliance.
• Strong knowledge of drainage systems, sewerage networks, and infrastructure construction processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera or MS Project, and document management systems.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing client expectations.
• Experience in the Middle East or Gulf region and familiarity with local regulations and construction practices.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
