- Assist veterinary professionals by safely handling pets during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Clean and disinfect cages, kennels, examination rooms, and common areas
- Maintain a hygienic and organized environment throughout the clinic and mobile units
- Feed, water, and monitor animals, reporting any changes in behavior or condition to the veterinary team
- Restock supplies such as bedding, cleaning materials, and basic animal care items
Requirements
- Ability to safely handle and restrain a variety of companion animals in a calm, humane, and low stress manner
- Strong cleaning, sanitation, and basic infection control skills
- Attention to detail in maintaining orderly, hygienic animal housing areas
- Basic animal care knowledge, including feeding, watering, monitoring behavior
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move equipment and animals safely
- Willingness to follow established protocols and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, kennel, or similar environment is an advantage but not mandatory
- Basic English proficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Handler and Cleaner role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Handler and Cleaner will assist veterinary professionals by safely handling pets during examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of animals and team members.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting cages, kennels, examination rooms, and common areas.
- Maintaining a hygienic and organized environment throughout the clinic and mobile units.
- Feeding, watering, and monitoring animals, reporting any changes in behavior or condition to the veterinary team.
