Position Overview
Oversee daily workshop activities and support the production of high-quality handmade products.
Maintain quality standards while coordinating artisan production and workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily handcraft workshop and artisan production activities for a smooth workflow.
- Produce handmade products using appropriate tools, materials, techniques, and craftsmanship methods.
- Supervise workshop staff, production schedules, and daily work assignments.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality, consistency, appearance, and workmanship.
- Train team members on crafting techniques, production procedures, tool usage, and safety requirements.
- Monitor production progress, material usage, product quality, and completion schedules.
- Report production issues, material defects, equipment problems, and quality concerns.
- Operate and maintain workshop tools, machinery, equipment, and workstations safely.
- Manage materials, supplies, inventory, and storage to minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
- Assist with product development, prototypes, custom orders, special projects, and new designs.
- Coordinate with design, sales, purchasing, and other departments to meet production requirements.
