Responsibilities
- Work the hand stack stations at Tetra lines
- Hand stack product onto pallets according to build pattern
- Pack product in boxes by hand
- Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units
- Mark or put identifying labels on product loads
- Construct or de construct shipping boxes
- Maintain general housekeeping of assigned area
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
- Report quality and operational issues to supervisor
- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices and safety requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year manufacturing work experience
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to stand and walk for 8 12 hour shifts
- Able to read, write and speak English

General Job Duties
- Work the hand stack stations at Tetra lines
- Hand stack as needed including providing break and lunch relief
- Move, stack, or place product onto the pallet in accordance with the pallet build pattern
- Pack product in boxes by hand
- Must be able to lift, carry and transfer up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis
- Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units
- Mark or put identifying labels on product loads
- Construct or de construct shipping boxes
- Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
- Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor or foremen
- Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with all state and federal regulations
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Manufacturing work experience 1 year
- Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
- Able to effectively work in a team environment
- Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 12 hour shifts
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
