- Ensure all products, processes, ingredients, and production practices comply with Halal certification requirements and regulatory standards
- Support maintenance of the Company's Halal Management System through inspections, documentation, supplier verification, employee awareness, and internal audits
- Work closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to uphold Halal integrity across the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Islamic Studies, Quality Management, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in Halal compliance, quality assurance, or food manufacturing
- Working knowledge of Halal requirements, GSO standards, Halal certification schemes, HACCP, GMP, and food safety systems
- Understanding of Halal ingredient verification, traceability, segregation, sanitation, and contamination control
- Experience conducting internal audits, inspections, and maintaining Halal documentation and records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

About the Role
- We are looking for a dedicated Halal Officer to join our Quality Assurance team.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Islamic Studies, Quality Management, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in Halal compliance, quality assurance, or food manufacturing (experience within the food industry preferred)
- Working knowledge of Halal requirements, GSO standards, Halal certification schemes, HACCP, GMP, and food safety systems
- Understanding of Halal ingredient verification, traceability, segregation, sanitation, and contamination control
- Experience conducting internal audits, inspections, and maintaining Halal documentation and records
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to train and raise awareness among employees on Halal requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
