We are looking for an experienced and creative hair stylist to join our salon team.
As a hair stylist, you will be responsible for providing a range of hair services to our clients, including haircuts, color, styling, and treatments.
You should have a passion for the beauty industry and be knowledgeable about the latest hair trends and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hair services to clients, including haircuts, color, styling, and treatments
- Keep up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques, and make recommendations to clients as appropriate
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing all tools and equipment after use
- Promote salon services and products to clients, and upsell additional services as appropriate
- Keep accurate records of client information and services provided
- Attend training sessions and continuing education classes to improve skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in cosmetology or hairstyling preferred
- Proven experience as a hair stylist, with a strong portfolio of work
- Strong knowledge of hair care techniques and products
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
