Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install high quality gypsum boards, metal frameworks, and suspended ceiling grids according to approved interior design drawings
- Execute complex decorative gypsum work, including bulkhead ceilings, hidden cove lighting profiles, arches, columns, and custom wall partitions
- Apply tape, joint compound, and plaster professionally to ensure perfectly smooth, seamless surfaces ready for final painting and decoration
- Read, interpret, and accurately execute architectural layout plans and detailed interior fit out drawings
- Take precise measurements to minimize material wastage while maintaining structural integrity and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere strictly to all site health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Expert proficiency in utilizing various hand and power tools required for gypsum work, framing, and plastering
- Exceptional precision in checking levels, alignments, and flush surfaces for a luxury finish
- Proven ability to read and understand structural and interior design drawings without constant supervision
- Basic communication skills in English, Hindi, or Urdu to coordinate effectively with the site foreman and engineers
- Candidates currently residing in the UAE who are available to start quickly will be given preference
