About the Role
We are looking for a Guest Professor to join our Business Faculty in Dubai starting July 2026. You will deliver engaging and practical modules in Programming, Big Data & Analytics, Quantitative Methods, Mathematics & Statistics, and contribute to curriculum development and industry collaborations.

Responsibilities
- Conduct introductory and advanced courses in Programming, Big Data & Analytics, Quantitative Methods, Mathematics & Statistics
- Plan and implement interdisciplinary research and development projects
- Advise and supervise students to help them achieve their goals
- Grade student work, supervise seminars, projects, and bachelor/master theses ensuring high academic and didactic standards
- Establish industry collaborations and partnerships to further grow the network of the University
- Participate in university administration and committee work, actively supporting the success of UE
- Contribute to the conceptual design of new study programmes and the continuous development of existing curriculum
- Advise prospective students and contribute to UE’s outreach activities
Requirements
- University studies completed with a Master’s degree in the field of the guest professorship
- Proof of exceptional aptitude for scientific work, usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate and/or the quality of scientific publications
- At least three years of qualified professional experience, with two years outside of a university, in the field of the guest professorship
- Experience in teaching lectures in the areas of Programming, Big Data & Analytics, Quantitative & Qualitative Methods, Mathematics & Statistics
- Ability to teach courses in English language
- National and international work experience
- Publication and research activity are a strong asset

Key Activities & Responsibilities
- Conducting introductory and advanced courses in the areas of Programming, Big Data & Analytics, Quantitative Methods, Mathematics & Statistics. Candidates should be able to give lectures in at least two of these areas
- Planning and implementing interdisciplinary research and development projects
- Advising and supervising students to help them achieve their goals
- Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, and bachelor/master theses ensuring high academic and didactic standards
- Establishing industry collaborations and partnerships to further grow the network of the University
- Participate in university administration and committee work, actively supporting the success of UE

Your profile
- Experience in teaching lectures in the areas of Programming, Big Data & Analytics, Quantitative & Qualitative Methods, Mathematics & Statistics. Experience in teaching advanced versions of these courses is an advantage
- National and international work experience
- Ability to teach courses in English language
- Publication and research activity are a strong asset
- Commitment to applied research, student engagement, and curriculum innovation
- Strong ability to communicate and work in a team
Requirements for a guest professorship
- University studies completed with a Master’s degree in the field of the guest professorship
