Position Summary
Process guest check-ins, payments, room assignments, room keys, accounts, and guest requests.
Provide directions and property information while delivering professional and anticipatory guest service.
Guest and Cashier Operations
- Verify guest identity, form of payment, rates, market codes, billing, and payment authorizations.
- Compile daily reports, logs, and contingency lists, then complete cashier and closing reports.
- Process payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges; balance and secure receipts and the bank.
- Notify Loss Prevention or Security of guest reports of theft.
Team and Service Leadership
- Assist management with employee training, evaluation, counseling, motivation, and coaching.
- Support team goals, respond to employee concerns, and serve as a role model and first point of contact for the fair-treatment process.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and follow up on guest requests.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
