Responsibilities: District 65 has PreK-8th grade students. Guest Educators step in for primary classroom teachers when they are absent.
Duties include
- Classroom Management - Ensure the classroom is a safe and productive learning environment
- Following teacher directed lesson plans and keep attendance records
- Assist students with schoolwork
- Support and enforce all school rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned by the building principal and administration
REQUIRED Licensure
To be eligible for the Guest Educator position, applicants must hold a current and valid license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). Specifically, Guest Educators are required to possess a Substitute (SUB), Professional Educator License (PEL), or Teaching Certification (STS) and be licensed in Region 5.
