Role Overview
The Global Supply Chain Manager leads global and regional sourcing managers across assigned product categories.
The role drives sourcing strategy, cost savings, supplier relationships, quality, lead times, operational excellence, and new product introduction support.
The role collaborates with product development, manufacturing, operations, quality assurance, supply chain, and risk management teams.
Strategic Sourcing Leadership
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, lead time, and risk.
- Lead, mentor, train, and manage the performance of global and regional sourcing managers.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and competitor activity to identify optimization opportunities.
- Build supplier relationships and negotiate competitive pricing, favorable terms, and quality standards.
Cost and Supplier Optimization
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement across supplier cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Use data analytics and benchmarking to assess supplier performance and value delivery.
