GRP Waterproofing Applicator

Responsibilities

• Apply GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) waterproofing systems to various substrates, ensuring complete and seamless coverage.
• Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, grinding, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion of the GRP system.
• Mix GRP resins and catalysts accurately according to manufacturer specifications to achieve the correct curing properties.
• Lay and consolidate GRP matting and topcoats, skillfully working around complex details and penetrations.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment, including rollers, brushes, sprayers, and safety gear.
• Inspect completed work for defects, ensuring it meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines to execute waterproofing tasks correctly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues that may arise during the waterproofing process.
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, other trades, and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
