We are hiring multiple Grounds Maintenance Operators to support this contract. These are permanent full-time positions based at Robertson Barracks.
About the role
You will be responsible for performing a wide range of manual and machinery-assisted tasks in physically demanding outdoor environments. This role supports the efficient and safe execution of construction, agricultural, and infrastructure projects by operating plant equipment, performing general labouring duties, and assisting tradespeople and site teams. We also have positions available that are focused on land management duties such as weeding, spraying and mowing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing and clearing land for construction, agriculture, or infrastructure projects.
Operating plant and construction machinery safely and efficiently.
Loading, transporting, and handling materials and equipment.
Performing manual labour including digging, lifting, and trenching.
Supporting tradespeople and crews with general site tasks.
Conducting equipment checks and report faults or hazards.
