About the role
The Grooming and Style Manager is responsible for maintaining high employee grooming standards across Qatar Duty Free.
The role manages grooming and style policies, procedures, engagement, training, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
Key accountabilities
- Create, update, and manage grooming and style objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Define standards and processes that enable consistent grooming checks.
- Manage revisions and distribution of the grooming guide and policies.
- Develop training solutions and train line managers and staff.
- Provide leadership and guidance on grooming and style topics.
- Resolve major grooming issues with minimal disruption.
- Support line managers in addressing staff grooming and style issues.
- Collaborate on the rollout of a new Qatar Duty Free uniform.
- Inspect staff uniforms and grooming standards and provide feedback.
- Track uniformed personnel feedback and improve grooming procedures.
- Monitor adherence to standards and improve customer perception.
- Research root causes, report compliance statistics, and lead improvement projects.
Qualifications and experience
- A high school, vocational qualification, diploma, or equivalent with at least seven years of job-related experience, or a bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least six years of job-related experience, is required.
- Customer service sector experience is required.
- Fashion and beauty experience is advantageous.
- Fashion, grooming, and beauty-related certifications are advantageous.
Skills and capabilities
- Clear, precise, and engaging communication at all levels is required.
- The role requires organization, proactivity, problem-solving, and informed decision-making.
- Command of English is required.
- The role requires the ability to influence successful outcomes, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
