About the Role
Luka Paws is looking for a motivated Groomer Assistant / Sales Assistant to join their pet care team in Dubai. The role involves assisting with pet grooming, providing customer service, processing sales, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities
- Assist groomer with bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, and preparing pets for grooming
- Safely handle dogs and cats of different breeds and sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of grooming area, tools, and equipment
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers in selecting pet food, treats, accessories, and other products
- Process sales through POS system and maintain accurate cash handling
- Restock shelves, organize displays, and monitor product expiry dates
- Answer customer inquiries about grooming services and pet care
- Support daily store operations and help maintain a clean, organized shop
Requirements
- Previous experience in pet grooming assistance or pet retail is an advantage
- Passion for animals and confidence handling dogs and cats
- Friendly, positive, and customer focused attitude
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Team player with willingness to learn
- Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods

Job Overview
