Berkeley Lab’s ( LBNL ) Information Technology Division ( IT ) has an opening for a Graphics Designer II to join the Creative Services Group !

In this exciting role, you will produce high-quality, engaging, and brand-compliant visual content.

Reporting to the Creative Services Manager, this role will focus primarily on brand templating platforms while collaborating with stakeholders, the Creative Services team, and various internal divisions within the Lab to evaluate project needs, maintain high-quality visual standards, and ensure brand integrity.

You will have the opportunity to create and maintain reusable visual assets and templates, executing design assignments across print and digital media, and manage projects from initial concept through completion.

We are looking for a talented professional with strong creative design skills, experience with design systems, and a passion for accessible, legible, and aesthetic visual communication for a collaborative research environment.

This position has an anticipated start date of October 1, 2026.

What You Will Do

Receive design assignments and deliver well-crafted visual assets, templates, and campaigns.

Design and create templates in Canva and Marq for a variety of communications materials (e.g., presentations, social media graphics, flyers, reports).
