Role Overview
Diamond Printing Press in Dubai is seeking a Graphic Designer with hands-on experience in an offset printing press environment.
The role combines creative design with technical knowledge of prepress, print production, color management, and print-ready artwork preparation.
Responsibilities
- Design artwork for brochures, catalogs, packaging, flyers, books, business cards, and other printed materials.
- Prepare print-ready files with CMYK, bleed, trim, crop marks, and color separation.
- Perform prepress checks and correct artwork or file-related issues before production.
- Handle file setting, color correction, proofing, and packaging die line preparation.
- Adapt client-supplied artwork to printing and production requirements.
- Coordinate with prepress, production, and press teams.
- Manage multiple jobs, meet tight deadlines, and ensure production specifications are met.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience as a Graphic Designer in an offset printing press.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
- Good understanding of CMYK, color separation, bleed, trim, and print specifications.
- Knowledge of paper types, inks, plates, and finishing processes.
