Grants & Contracts Manager-Renal

As the Grants and Contracts Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner to faculty, division leadership, and administrative stakeholders, providing expert oversight of complex research portfolios while guiding process improvements, compliance, and financial stewardship.

This role is ideal for a collaborative, solutions-oriented professional who can balance hands-on grant management with leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional coordination.

Reporting to the Division Administrator, the Grants and Contracts Manager oversees the Division of Nephrology’s research portfolio through advanced pre- and post-award grant management, financial analysis, and operational leadership.

This role manages complex award activity, supports agreement execution, interprets sponsor and institutional requirements, and provides high-level guidance to faculty Principal Investigators, grants staff, and divisional leadership to support sound decision-making and long-term research strategy.

The Grants and Contracts Manager reviews monthly budgets, fund activity, general ledgers, projections, and variance trends, and works closely with faculty Principal Investigators and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely management of assigned awards.
