Role Overview
Oversee grant programs from application and assessment through award, contracting, disbursement, monitoring, reporting, closeout, and reconciliation.
Establish grants-management processes and coordinate applicants, grantees, internal teams, auditors, government entities, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop grants administration strategies, procedures, controls, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Manage applications, eligibility screening, assessments, awards, agreements, amendments, renewals, suspensions, and terminations.
- Monitor budgets, disbursements, expenditure, financial reporting, compliance, milestones, deliverables, and performance.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments and coordinate corrective actions for high-risk or underperforming grants.
- Maintain grant files, registers, compliance calendars, risk records, payment schedules, reporting trackers, and closeout records.
- Develop systems, databases, dashboards, workflows, KPIs, and executive reports for the grant portfolio.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in grants administration, grants management, program administration, nonprofit operations, government funding, foundation management, donor-funded programs, financial administration, compliance, or program management.
