About the Role
Howden Group is seeking a Graduate Trainee to join their Cyber team in Dubai. You will support brokers with cyber insurance placements, learn about cyber risk, and develop commercial skills.

- Support brokers with placement and renewal of cyber insurance programmes for clients
- Review market submissions, compare quotes, analyse coverage options, and help develop recommendations
- Build understanding of risks in data protection, cyber security, business interruption, ransomware, regulatory change, and incident response
- Develop technical knowledge of cyber insurance products, market dynamics, broking practices, and claims processes
- Collaborate with broking, claims, placement, risk advisory, and support teams
- Learn to use industry systems and maintain accurate client, policy, market, and claims information
- Participate in training, networking, and development opportunities

- Recent graduate (no specific degree required)

Cyber Team
- Cyber is one of the fastest growing and most dynamic areas of the insurance market.
- As a Graduate Trainee, you'll work with clients to understand, manage, and transfer complex cyber and technology related risks.
Our Graduate Program
- 12 month development experience for recent graduates.
- You'll build understanding of risk assessment, placement, and management, and develop analytical, commercial, and consulting skills.
- Upon successful completion, you will transition into a permanent role.
What you'll be doing
- Gain hands on experience supporting brokers with placement and renewal of cyber insurance programmes.
- Work alongside experienced professionals to review market submissions, compare quotes, analyse coverage options.
- Build understanding of risks in data protection, cyber security, business interruption, ransomware, regulatory change, and incident response.
- Develop technical knowledge of cyber insurance products, market dynamics, broking practices, claims processes.
