Job overview
This entry-level role supports IT operations, end-user computing, and system administration.
The trainee will work with experienced support teams while developing troubleshooting, customer support, and IT service management skills.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for employee hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Assist with laptop imaging, configuration, updates, distribution, account creation, and device preparation.
- Support Microsoft 365 account setup, license assignment, and troubleshooting for Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Monitor support tickets, update statuses, and document issues and solutions.
- Track IT assets, maintain inventory records, and support periodic hardware and accessory audits.
- Create and update SOPs, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge articles.
- Escalate issues requiring higher-level expertise according to defined procedures.
- Collaborate with IT, development, and other teams to integrate IT controls into organizational processes and systems.
Qualifications
- BE, BTech in any branch, MSc, or MCA qualification.
- Zero to one year of relevant IT operations or system/support administration experience; internships and co-op experience are considered.
- Basic understanding of IT support concepts and troubleshooting.
