Role Overview
The role supports production and manufacturing activities for precision cutting tools in India.
The position is designed for a graduate engineer trainee at the beginning of their career.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities for solid carbide, indexable, and special-purpose cutting tools.
- Support shop floor operations to achieve production targets, quality requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Assist with CNC tool grinding, CNC machining, edge preparation, inspection, and packaging.
- Monitor machine performance, production output, and downtime, and report deviations.
- Coordinate with production, quality, design, maintenance, and planning departments.
- Monitor quality parameters and support corrective actions.
- Support new product trials, process validation, and product development projects.
- Ensure proper handling of raw materials, semi-finished products, tools, and finished goods.
