Role Overview

Join WSP's Marine Infrastructure team as a Graduate Engineer.

Develop a career in marine infrastructure while working with experienced engineers and project managers.

Support a variety of marine projects and participate in professional development opportunities.

Project Planning and Design

  • Support planning and design of marine infrastructure projects.
  • Assist with technical studies, calculations, drawings, and reports.
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines to support project delivery.

Structural Engineering

  • Assist with analysis and design of quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, and other marine structures.
  • Use engineering software for design and assessment activities.
  • Contribute to selecting materials and construction methods.

Construction and Handover

  • Provide technical support during construction activities and site visits.
  • Assist with design-related issues and project requirement compliance.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Follow health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Support sustainable and environmentally responsible engineering practices.
  • Maintain project documentation, drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Assist with progress reporting and stakeholder documentation.

Collaboration and Development

  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Civil or Structural Engineering with a marine infrastructure focus, or a related field.
  • Recent graduate or up to two years of professional experience in marine infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of marine engineering principles, design standards, and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or similar engineering software.
  • Familiarity with marine construction techniques and materials.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
  • English verbal and written communication skills are required; Arabic knowledge is advantageous.
