Role Overview
Develop bespoke electronics and software test systems for manufacturing processes.
Design and develop production test equipment across Sensata manufacturing sites for TPMS, MEMS, HTS, Electrification, and Industrial product families.
Integrate test equipment into automated production lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create training materials and provide training to remote sites as required.
- Use C++, C#, LabVIEW/TestStand, or another common programming language to develop and debug test applications.
- Optimize automated test equipment through software development, production-system integration, and improved diagnostics.
- Assist with specifications and develop diagnostic and test-result traceability systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers to integrate equipment with Sensata equipment and MIS-managed quality and data traceability systems.
- Liaise with product design groups to support SEL hardware design and the Sensata APQP process for new production technology.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in an electronics- or software-related discipline.
- Have working knowledge of a common programming language such as C, C++, or C#.
- Electronics design experience is desirable.
