Graduate Electronics Engineer (2026 start)

Cambridge Consultants works on a wide range of product and system developments for a broad range of clients. We’ll give you the time and support needed to learn how to apply your skills to client projects and create a solid reputation for yourself as a reliable, safe pair of hands for day-to-day electronic design across a mix of project teams . Your tasks may include :

Design and implement systems for a variety of applications and products.

Develop analogue and digital hardware, PCB layouts, and FPGA designs (Verilog/VHDL).

Hands-on testing and debugging in the lab.

Opportunities to gain experience in embedded software (C/C++) and system-level design.

Recent projects include:

Developing bespoke communication systems for robotics platforms.

Prototyping large airborne antennas for global 5G coverage.

Creating secure satellite communication systems.

Connecting the unconnected with affordable Digital Radio Mondiale technology

An excellent degree or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related subject.

Solid understanding of fundamental electronic theory and principles.

Practical experience through university, work, or personal projects in one or more of:

- Analogue electronics (interfaces, RF, power)

- Digital electronics (processors, DSP, Verilog/VHDL)

- PCB design

Enthusiasm for designing things and making them work.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
