Role overview
AECOM is seeking ambitious Civil and Structural Engineering graduates for its expanding Bridges and Structures team in Basingstoke.
The role covers projects from concept design through implementation for local, national, and international clients.
Work may include bridge design, assessment and maintenance, structural renewal, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Contribute to structural design from inception through completion.
- Undertake bridge assessment, finite element analysis, and structural inspections.
- Support structures renewal feasibility studies and on-site works supervision.
- Manage resources and tasks within schemes of structures.
- Use industry-leading computer software across bridge engineering projects.
Qualifications and skills
- BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification or equivalent, or above.
- MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering is an advantage.
- Structural modules or structural or bridge engineering experience are an advantage.
- Applicants need good technical understanding of Civil and Structural Engineering and an interest in bridge structures engineering.
