Job Summary

  • The Government Relations (GR) Manager oversees interactions with government authorities and ensures compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements.
  • Manages governmental processes related to licensing, visas, work permits, and operational approvals.
  • Serves as primary liaison between the company and government bodies, coordinating with legal partners in Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen, Kuwait, and UAE.
  • Based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain relationships with key government entities including MOHR, GOSI, MISA, Civil Defense, Customs, Chamber of Commerce, MOI, and Municipality.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, immigration regulations, and governmental procedures.
  • Manage business licenses, renewals, permits, and legal documentation.
  • Supervise issuance, renewal, and cancellation of visas, work permits, and residency (Iqama) for employees.
  • Support new staff and their families for smooth settlement.
  • Oversee creation and renewal of employment contracts within Qiwa platform.
  • Manage Saudization program and ensure adherence to mandated quotas.
  • Monitor updates to Saudi laws and regulations, providing insights to senior management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports, filings, surveys, and documentation.
  • Develop and implement process improvements for government related workflows.
  • Manage one direct report (admin assistant/broker).
  • Address government related disputes and compliance issues with HR and Legal teams.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Government Relations within logistics, e commerce, or multinational organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi labor regulations, immigration rules, and business compliance.
  • Hands on experience with GOSI, Muqeem, Qiwa, and Mudad systems.
  • Established network and strong relationships with key government entities.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven problem solving capabilities for complex regulatory processes.
  • Willingness to travel to Riyadh and other GCC countries.
