Role Description

  • The Governance Manager role at LIDER BIM S.A.C. is a part time, hybrid position based in Dubai, combining on site work with the flexibility to work from home.
  • The person in this role will design, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and relevant regulations.
  • Day to day responsibilities include monitoring adherence to governance processes, documenting decisions and approvals, and coordinating with cross functional teams to align projects and operations with governance requirements.
  • The Governance Manager will assess risks, recommend mitigation measures, prepare reports and dashboards for leadership, and support audits and reviews.
  • This role also involves facilitating governance related meetings, training team members on governance practices, and continuously improving governance structures to support sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong governance, risk, and compliance capabilities, including experience developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and analysis, with the ability to prepare clear governance reports, dashboards, and records for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams, coordinating approvals, and managing stakeholder expectations in a structured, process driven environment.
  • Ability to identify and assess operational and strategic risks, propose mitigation plans, and support audit and review activities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage part time responsibilities across on site and remote work settings.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain governance concepts and train team members on policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, management, information systems, or a related field; relevant certifications in governance, risk, or compliance are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in governance or compliance roles, ideally within technology, engineering, construction, or BIM related environments, is beneficial.
