- Design, implement, and maintain internal governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Review and update governance documentation.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Support risk management activities.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare periodic governance reports for management.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, policy development, and compliance frameworks
- Experience in risk management, internal controls, and process improvement within a corporate or agency environment
- Ability to analyze regulations and translate them into clear, practical internal guidelines and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare concise policies, reports, and presentations
- Proven skills in stakeholder management, cross functional collaboration, and influencing without direct authority
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a part time schedule
- Proficiency with standard office software and collaboration tools; familiarity with governance or compliance tools is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Public Administration, Governance, or a related field
- Professional experience in governance, compliance, or policy management
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid set up in Abu Dhabi, demonstrating initiative, integrity, and discretion with sensitive information

Role Description
- This is a part time, hybrid Governance Manager role based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home arrangements. The Governance Manager will help design, implement, and maintain internal governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with CP&M’s strategic, legal, and ethica
