Godot Game Engine Expert (Remote)

One of our client is seeking an experienced Godot Game Engine Expert to contribute to the development of high-quality interactive applications and games.

In this remote role, you will provide technical leadership, implement scalable gameplay systems, and ensure robust, maintainable architecture.

Design, implement, and optimize gameplay systems and core features using the Godot Game Engine.

Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to deliver cohesive and engaging player experiences.

Architect clean, scalable, and well-documented codebases.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across the development lifecycle.

Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and workflows within the Godot ecosystem.

Support code reviews and contribute to quality assurance processes.

Document technical decisions and maintain clear communication within a distributed team environment.

Advanced proficiency with the Godot Game Engine, including GDScript, C#, or related scripting workflows.

Demonstrated experience delivering completed game or interactive projects using Godot.

Strong understanding of 2D and/or 3D development pipelines, asset integration, and performance optimization.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Experience contributing to open-source projects or custom plugins within the Godot ecosystem.

Background in gameplay systems, UI/UX implementation, or multiplayer networking.

Familiarity with agile development practices and collaborative development tools.
