Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global procurement strategies, sourcing plans, category management frameworks, and procurement governance models
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including supplier identification, qualification, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, performance management, and continuous improvement programs across global markets
- Manage global supplier relationships, strategic partnerships, vendor performance, and procurement risk mitigation activities
- Collaborate with supply chain, finance, operations, legal, engineering, technology, sustainability, business units, and executive leadership to align procurement strategies with organizational priorities
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including cost savings, procurement efficiency, supplier performance, contract compliance, spend optimization, sourcing cycle times, supplier risk exposure, and value delivery metrics
- Develop and implement category strategies, supplier segmentation models, spend analysis programs, procurement policies, approval workflows, and strategic sourcing methodologies
- Lead contract negotiations, commercial evaluations, supplier agreements, pricing reviews, service level agreements (SLAs), and procurement risk assessments
- Analyze global market trends, commodity movements, supplier capabilities, geopolitical risks, and industry developments to identify procurement opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks
- Drive procurement transformation initiatives through automation, e procurement platforms, AI powered spend analytics, supplier intelligence solutions, and digital procurement technologies
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, sustainability requirements, supplier diversity initiatives, regulatory obligations, and corporate governance frameworks
- Utilize Source to Pay (S2P) platforms, Procurement Management Systems, ERP systems, SRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, spend analytics platforms, and business intelligence solutions to monitor procurement performance and generate insights
- Prepare procurement dashboards, spend reports, supplier performance reviews, savings analyses, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- Master's degree or professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CSCP are highly advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, supply chain management, category management, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience managing international suppliers, procurement teams, strategic sourcing programs, or enterprise procurement initiatives preferred
- Strong understanding of global sourcing, category management, supplier negotiations, contract management, procurement governance, cost optimization, supply chain risk management, and ethical procurement practices
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Procurement Management platforms, SRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, spend analytics solutions, and e procurement systems
- Familiarity with AI powered procurement analytics, digital procurement transformation, sustainable sourcing, ESG procurement practices, supplier risk intelligence, automation, and global supply chain technologies is advantageous
- Strong leadership, analytical, commercial, negotiation, strategic thinking, project management, and problem solving skills
