Global Launch Excellence Manager

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of global product launches, ensuring products are fully launch-ready across all relevant markets and functions.
• Establish and maintain robust launch governance, timelines, milestones, accountabilities and critical success factors across Global, Regional and local teams.
• Lead cross-functional global launch teams, aligning Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and other stakeholders around clear launch objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive global launch plans covering pre-launch, launch and post-launch optimisation activities.
• Drive affiliate and market readiness, identifying gaps, risks, dependencies and required actions to ensure successful local execution.
• Identify, assess and proactively mitigate launch risks, issues and critical dependencies that could impact launch timing, performance or commercial success.
• Develop and embed Pharmanovia's global launch excellence framework, including methodologies, governance processes, tools, templates, dashboards and KPIs.
• Coordinate launch execution across multiple countries and therapeutic areas, ensuring effective communication and alignment between Global, Regional and local organisations.
• Provide senior leadership with clear, concise updates on launch progress, readiness, risks, opportunities and key decisions required.
• Drive continuous improvement by conducting post-launch reviews, capturing lessons learned and implementing best practice across future launches.
• Facilitate effective stakeholder decision-making and issue resolution across complex, cross-functional and international project teams.
• Support affiliates in developing market-specific launch plans, customer engagement strategies and implementation roadmaps.

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Significant professional experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Desirable: MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business, Marketing, Project Management, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
• Formal project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent.

• Significant experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences industry.
• Proven experience supporting or leading global or international product launches.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations and launch planning.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional projects.
• Experience working across Global, Regional and local/affiliate organisations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, markets and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects through influence rather than direct line authority.
• Experience identifying, managing and mitigating complex project risks.
• Proven ability to develop and implement structured project plans and governance processes.
• Experience working within matrix organisations.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle and the key activities required to bring products to market.

• Experience managing launches across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Experience with speciality pharmaceutical or niche product launches.
• Experience with new product launches, new indications or lifecycle management.
• Experience in a global pharmaceutical company.
• Experience working with emerging markets and diverse healthcare systems.
• Experience developing or implementing a formal Launch Excellence framework.
