Role Overview

Work Arrangement

• The stated work arrangement is on-site / hybrid in the United Arab Emirates.
• The stated employment type is full-time.

IT Strategy and Operations

• Develop and execute global IT strategy, roadmaps, priorities, budgets, KPIs, and performance standards.
• Lead infrastructure, systems, applications, service delivery, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
• Oversee networks, cloud environments, servers, devices, connectivity, and reliable services across regions.
• Lead enterprise application governance across ERP, CRM, HRIS, collaboration platforms, and other critical systems.

Security and Governance

• Develop IT governance policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
• Lead cybersecurity, information security, technology risk management, data protection, access control, backup, and recovery.
• Establish disaster-recovery and business-continuity plans and ensure regulatory and company compliance.

Transformation and Commercial Management

• Lead IT transformation, modernization, automation, digitalization, and emerging-technology evaluations.
• Prepare technology investment proposals and support IT-related business cases.
• Manage IT budgets, technology spending, vendors, contracts, and service providers.
• Monitor service performance and continuously improve IT service-management processes.

Global Leadership

• Support expansion into new countries, offices, and markets from an IT perspective.
• Standardize technology platforms, processes, and security practices across global locations where appropriate.
• Lead, mentor, and develop regional IT managers and technology professionals.
• Communicate strategy, budgets, risks, performance, and major initiatives to senior leadership.

Core Requirements

• Proven enterprise IT leadership across multiple locations or regions.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, networking, cybersecurity, governance, risk, service management, and business continuity.
• Excellent strategic planning, project management, vendor management, negotiation, budgeting, communication, and team-development skills.
• Ability to manage complex multi-country initiatives and translate business requirements into technology strategies.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 10 or more years of progressive IT experience with significant senior leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading multi-country enterprise operations, budgets, vendors, transformation, ERP, cloud migration, governance, and cybersecurity programs.
• Previous Global IT Director, IT Director, Regional IT Director, Head of IT, CIO, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
• CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, TOGAF, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
• Arabic language skills and UAE, GCC, or international IT leadership experience are preferred.
