- Efficiently select and organize grocery products according to established store standards, ensuring optimal product placement and merchandising for customer appeal
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels through regular checks to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, supporting smooth store operations
- Assess product freshness with special attention to perishable items, promptly removing or reporting expired goods to uphold quality and safety
- Support daily store activities by stocking shelves and maintaining clean, attractive, and well organized product displays
- Assist customers virtually by providing accurate product information and addressing routine inquiries based on in store knowledge and standards
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in grocery retail operations, including product selection, merchandising, and inventory management
- Familiarity with grocery store standards, product freshness protocols, and customer service best practices
- Ability to assess and organize products efficiently within a fast paced retail environment
- Strong attention to detail to monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies or issues promptly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual customer support and reporting

Role Overview
- We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Generalists (Grocery) to work on a contract basis to apply real world grocery expertise to train and refine next generation AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
