Role Overview

The Equity Trader joins the Equities Trading team within a global equities franchise.

The role delivers high-quality client execution and service while supporting responsible revenue growth.

The trader uses research, market intelligence, and risk discipline to identify opportunities and manage exposures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute market, agency, and principal equity orders with speed, precision, and professionalism.
  • Facilitate client equity transactions end to end and monitor markets, liquidity, and news flow.
  • Apply analytical and pricing models to support execution and risk-aware trading decisions.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Research to develop business opportunities and client outcomes.
  • Communicate market trends, products, and trading insights to stakeholders.
  • Build trusted internal relationships to deliver coordinated client solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of analytical and pricing models used in trading and execution.
  • Comprehensive asset-class product knowledge with the ability to connect cross-asset impacts to equities.
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced, time-sensitive trading environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging across varied seniority levels.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cash Equities products and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Saudi and MENA public markets and the corporate coverage universe.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Research to deliver client outcomes and grow business.
