Responsibilities
- Drive commercial performance across all markets by supporting, challenging, and coaching country managers
- Serve as the first point of escalation for commercial issues such as customer complaints, inventory allocation, pricing, and supply chain constraints
- Identify and create commercial opportunities by analyzing inventory, customer relationships, and market conditions
- Coordinate across country managers, origin teams, logistics, supply chain, quality, finance, and senior leadership
- Develop and support the BD team through coaching, accountability, and clear direction
- Build commercial discipline by ensuring follow up, delivery, timely responses, and effective communication
Requirements
- 5+ years in commercial, business development, trading, account management, operations, or general management roles
- Experience working in fast moving international business environments
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across different markets and cultures
- Fluent English is required
- Arabic is strongly preferred
- Experience in commodities, international trade, FMCG, food and beverage, or specialty coffee is advantageous

- Qima Coffee is a specialty green coffee sourcing and trading company operating across Yemen, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Uganda, Brazil, and beyond.
- We work directly with thousands of producers and supply specialty roasters, importers, traders, and coffee companies globally.
- We combine the relationships, agility, and sourcing depth of an independent specialty coffee company with the infrastructure, logistics, and trade finance support of a serious international trading business.
The Role
- You will work directly with the CEO and act as the connective tissue between country managers, origin teams, logistics, supply chain, finance, and customers.
- You are being hired to make things happen, drive commercial performance, support country managers, unblock bottlenecks, and turn commercial intent into results.
- Over time, you become the CEO's day to day commercial integrator for the global green coffee business.
What You Will Do
- Drive commercial performance across all markets by supporting, challenging, and coaching country managers.
- Be the first point of escalation for commercial issues; form a view and drive toward a solution.
- Create opportunities by constantly looking for commercial opportunities and thinking about who might buy inventory.
- Coordinate across the business with country managers, origin teams, logistics, supply chain, quality, finance, and senior leadership.
- Develop and support the BD team by celebrating wins, coaching, providing direction, and holding people accountable.
- Build commercial discipline by ensuring opportunities are followed up, commitments delivered, and customers receive timely responses.

Experience
- 5+ years in commercial, business development, trading, account management, operations, or general management roles.
- Experience working in fast moving international business environments.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across different markets and cultures.
- Experience in commodities, international trade, FMCG, food and beverage, or specialty coffee is advantageous but not essential.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is strongly preferred; additional languages such as Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese are a genuine advantage.
What We Offer
- Base Salary: 25,000–30,000 JOD per year.
- Performance Commission: Uncapped commission directly linked to commercial growth and business performance.
- On Target Earnings (OTE): 50,000–70,000 JOD per year for a strong performer.
- Location: Amman, Jordan.
- Travel: Regular travel to London and periodic travel to key international markets.
- Growth Opportunity: Clear pathway toward broader commercial leadership responsibilities.
