The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Global Accounts Manager to manage and grow strategic international customer accounts, drive revenue expansion, and strengthen long term client relationships.
  • The ideal candidate will develop global account strategies, manage complex enterprise relationships, identify growth opportunities, and coordinate cross functional teams to deliver exceptional value to key customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global account strategies, account plans, relationship management frameworks, and revenue growth initiatives aligned with organizational objectives and customer business goals.
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic global accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to enterprise customers, regional stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global clients, understanding their business priorities, operational challenges, strategic initiatives, and long term partnership objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, marketing, product management, operations, finance, legal, technical teams, and executive leadership to deliver integrated solutions and maximize customer value.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including account revenue, customer retention, renewal rates, customer satisfaction (CSAT), Net Promoter Score (NPS), account growth, pipeline development, profitability, and strategic engagement metrics.
  • Identify and pursue account expansion opportunities through cross selling, upselling, new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and solution development initiatives.
  • Develop executive engagement strategies, business reviews, account performance reports, customer success plans, and strategic recommendations for enterprise clients and internal leadership.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, customer insights, industry developments, and account performance data to identify growth opportunities and mitigate account risks.
  • Lead global account governance processes including account reviews, stakeholder alignment meetings, escalation management, service improvement initiatives, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Manage complex negotiations, commercial discussions, contract renewals, service agreements, and partnership opportunities in collaboration with legal, finance, and commercial teams.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, sales analytics platforms, customer success tools, and business intelligence solutions to monitor account performance and generate actionable insights.
  • Prepare global account reports, executive presentations, customer dashboards, revenue forecasts, strategic account plans, and business recommendations for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Sales Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Master's degree or professional certifications in Strategic Account Management, Sales Leadership, Customer Success, Business Strategy, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience in global account management, strategic sales, enterprise sales, customer success, business development, or related roles.
  • 2+ years of experience managing multinational customers, enterprise accounts, strategic partnerships, or complex commercial relationships preferred.
  • Strong understanding of strategic account management, enterprise sales, customer lifecycle management, global business operations, contract negotiation, revenue growth strategies, and customer relationship management.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, sales analytics platforms, customer success tools, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) powered sales analytics, account intelligence platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), global market expansion strategies, and digital customer engagement technologies is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, commercial, analytical, strategic thinking, negotiation, relationship management, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, executive engagement, negotiation, and cross functional collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex global accounts while balancing customer expectations, revenue objectives, operational delivery, profitability, and long term partnership value.
  • Ability to work independently in remote and hybrid environments with flexibility to support international clients across different time zones.
