Role Overview
Own the development, performance, and continuous improvement of Kaprel product systems across the Group.
Develop detailed knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass, seals, gaskets, acoustic components, hardware, doors, sliding mechanisms, fixings, and construction interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product engineering, new product development, testing, performance improvement, value engineering, technical problem solving, documentation, manufacturing development, supplier development, and standardization.
- Develop and improve aluminium, glass, partition, door, and movable wall systems with the Managing Director.
- Resolve recurring technical, manufacturing, and site issues.
- Lead new product development from concept and prototyping through testing and production.
- Review drawings, components, tolerances, hardware, and manufacturing methods.
- Drive cost reduction, reliability, ease of installation, and product performance.
- Coordinate testing, certification, and performance improvements.
- Maintain drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and product documentation.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, projects, procurement, and other departments across UAE, Saudi Arabia, and India.
- Ensure consistent technical standards across the Group.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, aluminium systems, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CAD, product development, prototyping, and product testing.
- Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and commercially aware approach to engineering decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and countries.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in architectural aluminium, glass systems, doors, façades, movable walls, architectural hardware, or building products.
