About the Role
ROYAL WORLD GLASS in Al Quoz is hiring a Glass Drilling Machine Operator to operate and maintain glass drilling machines, produce accurate holes, and ensure quality. Candidates need experience operating glass drilling machines and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain glass drilling machines to produce accurate, high quality holes in glass according to production drawings and quality standards
- Read and understand production drawings and work orders
- Set up and operate CNC or manual glass drilling machines
- Check glass dimensions, hole size, and hole location before and after drilling
- Handle glass carefully to prevent scratches, edge damage, and breakage
- Change drill bits and tools when required
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
- Report machine faults or quality issues to the supervisor
- Follow production schedules to meet daily targets
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S)
Requirements
- Experience operating glass drilling machines
- Knowledge of glass types (tempered, laminated, insulated, etc.)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Basic measuring skills using tape, vernier, or measuring tools
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment

Safety Responsibilities
- Wear safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes, and other required PPE
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance
- Handle broken glass safely and dispose of waste correctly
- Report unsafe conditions and accidents immediately
Reporting To
- Production Supervisor / Factory Supervisor.
Compensation
- Pay: AED1,000.00 AED1,500.00 per month
