GIS Testing Analyst - Associate

As a GIS Testing Analyst - Associate, you will engage in client support within our Business Application Consulting practice, focusing on Maximo Consulting. This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of innovative solutions that enhance business operations and supply chain processes. You will be at the forefront of field service and operations modernization, leveraging functional and industry technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment that encourages adaptability and teamwork. You will support senior staff, engage in research, and participate in project tasks, all while developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving. Responsibilities Work with the Functional Analysts and Tech Teams- understand the functional and Technical Requirements to identify the Test Scenarios and Test Cases

Develop and document comprehensive GIS test plans, strategies, and test cases based on requirements, segregate into Desktop, Web and Mobile platforms as needed

Work with the DB team to review Data QA and Acceptance criteria

Work with Testing COE and Test Teams in planning and executing Test cases.

Help Testing team in Building Test scripts for GIS driven scenarios.

Help Building GIS Test automation for functional scenarios, both for desktop and web environment.

Understanding Functional requirements and the Tech Solution as per documentation (or explained by the Lead)

Conduct ST, SIT, facilitate UAT

Defect Management and Resolution

Go

Live support for sanity testing and developing specific business scenarios for testing.

Prior experience in GIS Testing assignments will be an advantage

What You Must Have Minimum of 5 years’ working experience with Esri ArcGIS Software (Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, Online)

Understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise Architecture

ArcGIS Server, Portal, data Store etc.

Understanding of Utilities Domain and Esri Utility Network

Maps, Projects, Layout templates, Editing Templates, Tasks etc.

model Builder

Topology, Connectivity, Utility Network, Projection Systems etc.

Versioning and Spatial data Types

PerfQAAnalyzer, ArcGIS Monitor etc.

Understanding of Test automation tools i.e. Selenium that can integrate with ArcGIS

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations

Exemplary problem solver skills and excellent written and verbal communication

What Sets You Apart Experience working in the Utilities domain will be an added advantage, along with domain knowledge specific to Electric or Gas

SubNetwork, Associations, Containment, Tracing etc.

Proven knowledge of database design and PL/SQL query, stored procedure and trigger development

Experience with the Agile methodology and Jira software
