Role overview
Lead AECOM's Perth GIS team and elevate spatial capabilities across infrastructure and consulting projects.
Shape GIS strategy and bidding while transitioning spatial services into trusted digital advisory support.
Integrate GIS, CAD, and BIM to improve decisions and project outcomes.
What you'll do
- Coach the Perth GIS team, allocate workload, set priorities, and foster an inclusive high-performance culture.
- Implement regional initiatives and business-line GIS strategy with national counterparts.
- Steer GIS bidding strategy, support business development, and improve efficiency, consistency, and win rates.
- Develop 3D geospatial environments for decision support and collaboration on multidisciplinary designs.
- Integrate GIS, CAD, and BIM using FME and Python, and explore valuable AI-enabled spatial intelligence.
- Coordinate digital delivery, information management, BIM, CAD, and platform leads for interoperable workflows.
- Lead project GIS functions, including automation, reporting, data workflows, and client-aligned delivery.
- Deploy field data capture using Field Maps, Survey123, and Experience Builder in online and offline settings.
- Manage GIS projects end to end and uphold data governance, QA/QC, and assurance.
