Western Forest Products is seeking a GIS Developer Student to join our Corporate Timberlands Office in Campbell River, BC for Summer 2027.
What You’ll Do: In this role, you will work closely with the Information Technology (IT) and GIS teams to support the development, configuration, and continuous improvement of enterprise GIS solutions.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, web application development, GIS administration, and business process improvement initiatives.
The position may be offered as either a 4-month term for students returning to school or an 8-month term for recent graduates, depending on candidate availability and business requirements.
Who You Are: This is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates in GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines who are looking to gain practical experience with enterprise GIS technologies.
